I'm a film junkie, but if i'm gonna get any sort of career in photography, I'm gonna need a DSLR and I'm pretty sure all local indie magazines would just laugh at me if I pulled out my olympus E-PL1. would you recommend this for doing serious shots, but also for a hobbiest and artist? (also, whats the double exposure and x-pro like?)

Man, you know that the artist is judged not by the tools he's using but by the product he produces. K-x is fine entry level DSLR.

i love leica cameras, original and the new digitals, but still, i'm just looking for any non micro 4/3 DSLR thats easy to get around with a nice image quality
